		<description>How in hell is a librarian supposed to know the immigration status of someone who wants a library card when it is illegal to ask?  I'm not even getting to the actual racial bigotry involved, just the legality.  The same thing applies to housing and other phases of life.

If you can't, by law, discriminate based on race, creed, color or nation of origin, how can you ask the question without getting into legal trouble?

Don't these people ever consult the laws they have already written before they write new ones?  They are blithering racist idiots.
