Banned Book Talk: Open Thread

Here’s a list from the ALA of the most challenged and banned books in the country. Bet you can’t guess what the most banned book is. Hint: it’s about a boy with glasses who goes to a special school.

What’s your favorite banned book? Let me know in comments.

I couldn’t find a list of banned books at all (as I suspected I wouldn’t).

I must be really behind in my reading. I didn’t read any of the challenged books or authors listed for 2005.

You didn’t find any banned books because the ALA and ACLU have lots of mean lawyers who do their job well. And I haven’t read any of the challeneged books for 2005 either. Fan of th eclassics, though. Fahrenheight 451 is the book that made me want to write stories.
