The problem for CHRISTIAN parents is that they want their children to believe water into wine, walking on water, bringing people back from the dead, so when it comes to Harry Potter they can't simply say: people can't do it, because some child will counter with "Jesus did." This is a major problem for literalists and fantasy novels. I wouldn’t be so quick about the Kiss records.

The problem for CHRISTIAN parents is that they want their children to believe water into wine, walking on water, bringing people back from the dead, so when it comes to Harry Potter they can’t simply say: people can’t do it, because some child will counter with “Jesus did.”

This is a major problem for literalists and fantasy novels.
