To truley know it you have to watch it more than once and pick out the parts you missed before, the subtle points. The trilogy wasn't a disappointment, but should get high praise for its uniqueness. It's dark, impressive, new, and much much better than most of the movies that lure us by their super trailers but waste our time and money. I have filed it in my favorite flicks list. And the cast were real fun to watch, the acting, the accents, the dialogue, the make-up, the costumes, in short the characters, just unforgettable. By the way, you should see the japannese anime "One Piece", I recommend. Actually, the moviemakers have picked up some of the good ideas of the anime, like the Pirate summit, and the pirate king, or the jolly roger with a theme that tells the captain's identity. The anime is a real thing, especially for those who wants more about pirate world or pirate lore. And also, I love the pirate song very much, the" hoist the colors high" song. Hi
