It's that perfect mixture of hubris and stupidity that makes Wal-Mart so special. They figured that no one could possibly be interested in hours of raw footage of boring old executives making small talk and that the company would just fold without their patronage. Ha!

What I appreciate most is that this all came about because Wal-Mart chose a different firm to film their meeting MUSICAL, as opposed to the company they typically used and the original film company decided to release their Wal-Mart archive in retaliation. On the other hand, what large company doesn't have rights secured for their footage? Brings up some interesting copyright and ownership issues. Not to mention we get to see what complete jerks Wal-Mart execs are, not that we didn't know that already.
