Brilliant! I loved it! Cannot wait for next one. I agree, no more time travel! And what was with Spock's lady-love? How did I miss that connection all those years!!

I too thought this was a brilliant movie. The casting was inspired, particularly Sylar as Spock and Shawn of the Dead as Scotty. It took me awhile, but I finally realized that McCoy is the guy who played Eomer of Rohan (sp?) in Lord of the Rings. And, of course, Harold of Harold and Kumar as Sulu. In fact, the only main character I didn't recognize from somewhere else was Kirk.

Spock and Uhura are a couple? That was definitely a curve, and it didn't even require the "time travel fucked up the universe" angle, since they were obviously together before all off this occurred.

I second the "no more time travel" request. Once was enough, and it was central to the plot, and well done to boot. No more, though.
